Walk Off Parkinson’s will be held at Nationals Park on Sunday, September 14, 2014.
The doors open for registration at 8:30 (but the walk usually starts after 9:30).
There is free parking in a lot adjacent to the Park. You can chose to walk for all or part of the route or not participate in the walk at all and see or join in exercise demonstrations. There is no set fee for participating, but donations are greatly appreciated. The Walk raises much needed funds for PFNCA’a programs for people whose lives are impacted by Parkinson’s disease.
Our support group’s team, Team Fair Oaks Folks, which is open to anyone, will be participating again this year. Sandy is the team leader. If you’d like to register and/or make a donation, go to www.walkoffpd.org and click on join an existing team. You can also participate as an individual.
Sandy will provide an eye-catching team accessory to wear for all members, a change from the green visors of the past.
