Dear Friends,
With great sadness I bring you the news that Ken Flavin passed away on Thursday, October 15 peacefully at his home at the Woodlands. He was 97 years young. Ken was a beloved member of Sonia’s water aerobics class as well as a member of our support group. He was an inspiration to all because of his upbeat personality and his positive outlook on life in addition to his commitment to stay fit. He was a model of how to enjoy life and have fun. There was always a twinkle in his eyes and a story, joke or quip to be shared.
Relatives and friends are invited to Ken’s Life Celebration at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna VA, on Wednesday, October 21 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A service at the Woodlands and a service with full military honors will take place at a later date.
Please check in on the Money & King website for updates and to sign the guest book: http://www.moneyandking.com/_mgxroot/page_10780.php. There will be a notice in Sunday’s Washington Post
