Home modifications, even small ones, can make a big difference by enhancing your comfort and ability to thrive at home as your living situation changes. These welcoming features make life easier for you and for visitors to your home—from grandparents to grandchildren, to neighbors, family and friends.
Attend this free workshop to find out how simple changes to your home can create an environment where everyone is welcome, and where everyone can flourish.
When: Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Walk Off Parkinson’s Update:
More then $435,000 was raised from the Walk Off Parkinson’s event on September 18th, at the National’s Park in Washington, DC . Our “Fair Oaks Folks’ team was well represented, with 15 walkers, and we raised $1,240 in donations.
These funds are used to support the work of the National Foundation of the National Capital Area. Many of us attend sponsored classes, community lectures , the annual Parkinson’s Symposium and other events through out the year. Our thanks to all who helped make this day a big success. It was heart warming to see over 1,200 people turn out in support of our Parkinson’s Community.
