April support group meeting – online?

Hello everyone!

I’m sorry we won’t be able to meet in person this month, but by staying home you’re safe and well. The good news is, with thanks to our Inova Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center team, I’ve arranged for us to meet online!

Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am

We could check in with each other and share the various resources that have been working for us, and if you need help, someone in the group may have an answer for you.

Because we are a support group, and to work around some of the security issues with online meetings, if you’d like to join in please send an email to sonia.gow@inova.org and I’ll send you the link to register. You’ll receive the information you need to log on this Saturday at 10:00 am. I hope to see you soon!

cheers,
Sonia

March support group meeting is cancelled

In order to help contain the spread of COVID-19, and in keeping with the recommendations that we should avoid crowded areas or places where we might interact with people who are sick, we will not be meeting this month.

If you’re looking for information about how people with Parkinson’s can prepare, there’s information from two national Parkinson organization websites below.

Stay safe and we hope to see you again soon!

cheers,
Sonia
